<description>Like Diane, I would also welcome and appreciate an immediate response to the questions she has repeatedly asked. I cannot understand why to this point they have gone unanswered and unacknowledged.

<description>It saddens my heart that we must constantly go through loopholes everyday to be heard. It shouldn't be this way. Our loved ones were murdered and a proper investigation has never happened and to this day I do not understand why. I pray every day that our government officials have a conscience and their hearts are open wide with love and compassion for themselves and for us.
I do not know how they sleep at night.
To the love and devotion we have in every moment,

		<description>To the editors:
Thank you for your August 1, 2007 editorial, "Ground Zero's Last Rites." You were able to capture the sensitivity of the families, the City and indeed our Nation in finding the appropriate way to remember our loved ones on September 11, 2007. Your one sentence spoke volumes, "Grief has as much value as resilience." Let us not be afraid to show our grief; it will not negate our resilience.

		<description>You have said it all.

How sad it is that We as a Nation can not find more productive things to do.

For those who lost nothing that day, this was a "regular" day except that 4 planes tried to harm innocent citizens.

To these film makers that was "no big deal."

Their thought was that money could be made. Shame on the American public for supporting these folks.

<description>Sue, Janon &#038; NY Post Staff,

I do not need to edit your article because this will not help the plight of the 9-11 survivors or the 9-11 community as a whole. The individual sources used to make poignant statements or statements for shock value is a tactic of eliciting highly emotional issues and a way to conquer and divide a community which backs each others causes! I truly question if you investigated the source of validity given in the statements; I am not hear to judge someone's opinion but I will say; many individuals are worried about the 9-11 Community as a whole, have backed the efforts to pave new avenues for addressing pertinent issues in the community or to accomplish common goals? I still hold steadfast to what was written in my e-mail:

The story is not the one you search for just to sell papers or in regard to who else is treating individuals or where - the story is in the fact we all gave of ourselves, did our jobs, served our country and helped humanity unselfishly. The story is the fact we have no insurance, lost our pensions, exhausted our financial nest eggs to address our health issues, our medical coverage is canceled, the prescription plans are no longer available, the family structure is being dismantled due to health issues, financial issues, psychological issues &#038; lack of services, etc. The story is about men &#038; women who were healthy productive individuals giving back to their community, earning a living, paying taxes, etc. until September 11th, 2001 exposed them to over 258,000 carcinogenic chemicals which have given us many illnesses, diseases and ailments.

Many of us have been given a slow death sentence and we deserve our rights to be validated!

Feature the TRUTH of the survivors stories ; then I feel the media will earn the respect of the 9-11 community.

<description>This was sent by a member of our distribution

Also the Governor of NJ should get letters to call on the White House to request JPAC.

The request must come from someone in the "Ground Zero Chain of Command" Even a lower ranking official in the chain of command could make the request but obviously it looks much better in having the Governor of either state making the request since it goes to the White House.

I also know the Rep. Shays and Maloney also sent similar letters months ago on this issue

My thoughts would be to

1-Keep up media jazz on this issue.

2-Keep getting other officials to write letters even if they are not "in the chain of command"; it increases awareness and puts more pressure on the White House.

3-Get Congressman Tom Reynolds of NY to support this. Tom is chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee (gets Republicans elected to Congress and reelected). He is a HUGE player in DC, has the President's ear, and represents Upstate areas.

4-Keep trying to get Pataki (good luck) or the Governor of NJ.

Merely suggestions.

God Bless you all on your bravery and efforts.</description>
