Rally to Address the Medical Examiner’s Misclassification
of 9/11 Related Deaths

Where: In front of the Medical Examiner’s Office, 30th Street & First Avenue, NYC

Time: 1:00 PM

Why: This rally will address the Medical Examiner’s misclassification of 9/11 related deaths & other 9/11 issues related to the M.E.’s office. It is sponsored by Eric Adams, NYS Senator from Brooklyn, and Attorney Norman Siegel. The Skyscraper Safety Campaign & 9/11 Parents & Families of Firefighters & WTC Victims family groups are in full support of this event. All Emergency Responders & groups concerned with the Medical Examiner’s office & 9/11 issues are invited to attend.

Promises to Keep
Preserving the Collections of 9/11

The New York State Archives is pleased to offer a free workshop for families, survivors and responders to be held at South Nassau Communities Hospital.

Since 9/11, representative from various NY cultural institutions have worked to ensure the survival of critical documentation surrounding the 9/11 tragedy. As a result, organizations and individuals have assembled collections of documents an artifacts like oral histories, letter, diaries, posters, maps, government reports, case files, photographs, memorial quilts and architectural remnants. There are significant challenges in preserving some of these materials.
Participants will have an opportunity to discuss how to care, store and display their cherished collections with
conservation experts.
