THE CAROUSEL OF INSANITY CONTINUES

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

This month alone almost 150 remains have been found at Ground Zero.In the past few days another 19 new remains were found in the Deutsche Bank building.

Remains are being uncovered as they are finally excavating the site of the Greek Orthodox Church.

Almost every day for the last month a human remain was recovered.

The total for the past year now stands at 1,273.

This number is likely to increase drastically as 130 Liberty, the Church site and the southern portion of the Haul Road is completed.

Unfortunately this will not be the end.

They will have to search the newly discovered WTC exits under West Street.

Exits that were somehow overlooked during the original search.

They should also completely excavate the ramps into the pit.

If the Haul Road was constructed from material containing human remains the ramps certainly were as well.

How many other conduits and service tunnels have yet to be uncovered?

The way this search continues to be handled gives no indication that the recovery effort will ever be successfully completed.

Rooftops still left unsearched, service tunnels and manholes left unsearched.

It will be easy for the city to call the search completed whenever they wish with no formal search plan on record.

Just like the original search, just like the burying of the fines at Fresh Kills the carousel of insanity continues.

We have remains in the ME’s office that could have been brought in with personal items.

The items went to the NYPD Property Department and might have been claimed.

We have a system to check if this occurred but it is not being used.

We have claims of thousands of dollars and items missing but our request for a formal investigation has been ignored.

They quickly paved over the Haul Road this month just like they buried the remains at Fresh Kills with no advance notice.

They have paid millions to have the recovered remains tested but cannot even tell us if or when the tests were administered.

We have not gotten one positive DNA match from 1,273 remains and we don’t even know if they have been tested.

Yet another month draws to a close the 65th month since the Towers Fell and more attention is being given to the conspiracy theories
then to the recovery and identification of remains.

Where is the material from the Deutsche Bank?

Why are there vouchers for personal items but no personal items?

If they made 1,273 mistakes at Ground Zero isn’t it possible that that mistakes were made at Fresh Kills?

Well next month begins with April’s Fools Day and the Carousel of Insanity continues.

RE-GIFTING FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

To All,Throughout the year we will all will be receiving that certain gift that we either will never use or already have.

If we don’t spend hours on that return line this gift will sit in a closet or a drawer until it is finally thrown out when we do our Spring cleaning.

Where to Turn and Put It Above Ground would like to give you another option.

Donate your unwanted gift and we will make sure it gets to someone who could use it.

Toys will be given to local hospitals or shipped to needy children in Mississippi or Louisiana as part of our adopt a school program.

CD’s and DVD’s will be sent to injured soldiers in military hospitals.

Clothes will also be sent where needed.

For things that fall into that “other category we will store them for a major flea market in the Spring.

All proceeds from the flea market will go to cover shipping costs for our various relief programs.

If you would like to participate all you need to do is ship the gift or drop it off at

(New York, N.Y. — Mar. 26, 2007) On March 30, 2007 the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will close the registration period for its Lower Manhattan Test and Clean program. The program, which covers the area south of Canal Street and West of Allen and Pike Streets, will allow residents and building owners to have the air and dust in their units tested for four contaminants associated with dust from the collapse of the World Trade Center. HEARTS AND HANDS MEMORIAL COMPLEX

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

To All,

As promised we have an update to the “Hearts and Hands Project.

We have found a possible location for our Memorial Complex that we believe will offer 9/11 families the solace that they are looking for and remind everyone of how America came together after the tragic events of 9/11.

We are currently looking to renovate buildings on Staten Island to create

An exhibition hall with over 9,000 square feet of open floor space that will house the 16,000 square foot United in Memory 9/11 Victims Memorial Quilt

A Corridor of Memories over 250 feet long (nearly 3,000 square feet) that will include photos of all of the victims of the attacks and will include affiliation, age and location on 9/11.

The ceiling of the corridor will be constructed with curved plexi-glass and will have the names of all of the victims etched into it in a completely random fashion.

Between the exhibition hall and corridor of memories will be a 21,000 square foot Memorial Garden.

Future phases of the complex will include:

A 9/11 Memorial Museum

A Public Library

A Veteran’s Center

A Senior/Youth Center

All of these are existing buildings that have fallen into terrible disrepair and will need extensive renovation.

We feel that the Survivor’s Staircase would be a welcomed addition to this complex and could become a permanent component.

We are currently in the planning stages and would be open to working the Staircase into our plans.

Working with the Joseph Maffeo Foundation and United in Memory we hope to fill the void left in our world, by the passing of our loved ones, we are taking a positive, proactive approach - instilling goodness and decency in our world so that all who were lost will always be our beams of light towards a better tomorrow.

We plan to include educational programs and incorporate a mobile computer lab which will allow family members to record their memories. It will also be used to bring computer access to disadvantaged students and seniors throughout Staten Island.

Of course we are still in the infancy stage but have gotten positive responses from most government officials.

We are putting together a business plan and will arrange for engineers to evaluate the space and more accurately estimate the costs.

This project will require significant funding and we will be reaching out for private, governmental and corporate support.

We would appreciate your feedback.

Please pass this on to any interested parties.

If there is interest they can contact me at 718-619-2371.

We will keep you posted as to our progress.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Dennis McKeon
